In March 2026, TV presenter Sandrine Quétier brought together 120 handpicked guests to celebrate her birthday aboard Bateau Paris 5, moored at the foot of Notre-Dame. A private party shaped by Spanish sun, with Bateaux Seine orchestrating the entire event: private hire of the boat, bespoke scenography, live entertainment and discreet service.

Hosting a celebrity birthday in Paris comes with a precise brief: confidential arrivals, meticulously managed access, VIP guest welcome and absolute discretion from every member of staff. A boat offers a rare advantage: a floating private bubble, sheltered from outside eyes. Once boarding closes, the 120 guests move in a closed circuit, free to enjoy the evening without constraint.
Bateau Paris 5 was chosen for its warm interior decor, its wide picture windows that showcase the Parisian sunset, and its ability to comfortably host around a hundred guests standing at a cocktail reception.
To celebrate her birthday, Sandrine Quétier wanted a sunny, festive and warm atmosphere. The Spanish theme shaped every detail of the scenography: ochre and terracotta garlands, Mediterranean-inspired drapes, artisanal tableware and wild flowers.
On the food side, a live paella station gathered guests around the chef, who prepared three giant paellas in front of them (chicken, seafood, vegetarian). A signature cocktail bar served white sangria, Andalusian mojito and margaritas to extend the Latin mood. A live band with flamenco and salsa influences kept guests dancing all night. To capture the memories, a photobooth styled with colourful props immortalised the evening.
Bateaux Seine led the event from A to Z over three months of preparation: boat selection and private hire, catering coordination, artist casting (live band and photobooth), furniture and decor hire, boarding access management, front-of-house briefing and orchestration of the evening's rhythm (cocktail, dinner, entertainment, cake).
